20 tips for how write a ps
Here is the things I believe you should state clearly in your PS, since the first several lines:
1. What is your major/ academic aim and what you have achieved in thisfield.
2. Why you are excellent enough to apply for the study in USA
3. If you are admitted, what you can contribute to this Univ. Always remember,the universities give you the money not because you are poor and you need it, but because you are excellent and you worth this payment.
4. What academic aspect you will focus on. If there is a professor whose interest fits yours very well, perfect!
5. What is your career aim and why this new study experience can help you to a chieve this aim. Show them that you have a clear life plan, which is the proof of a clear mind.
6. Why you especially choose this university. Please do not fall into the typicla "New Oriental" trick, which always
tells you to begin your long boring story from "I have a miserable childhood...blablabla" Nobody cares this, really. University is not the charity. Here is the things I believe you should state clearly in your PS, since the first several lines:
